Crop a PDF
Brother Framer keeps only what you frame: margins gone, one area brought forward, on one page or all of them.
or drop it here
No file leaves your device, from import to download.
How to do it
- Drop your PDF in the area above: its first page shows, with a frame.
- Draw the area to keep, adjust it by its handles, then choose all pages or the page shown.
- Click “Crop the PDF”, then download the copy.
Cropping a PDF removes the margins of a scan, isolates a table or a picture, or brings a page down to the size worth reading on a screen.
Brother Framer does everything on your device: your documents never leave your computer or your phone.
Frequently asked questions
Is what lies outside the frame deleted?
No: it stays in the file, hidden, as in every PDF reader that crops. To really remove an area from the file, use Brother Inkpot, who redacts.
My pages are not all the same size. What happens?
The frame keeps the same share of each page: a bigger page loses wider margins, in the same proportions.
Can I crop a single page?
Yes: show it, then choose “Page only” before cropping.
Is my PDF sent to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device. No file is sent or stored.
What about a protected or signed PDF?
A protected PDF opens with its password, and the copy keeps it. A signed PDF is refused: the cropped copy would make its signature invalid.
