Scan a document
Brother Snap turns your photos of documents into clean PDFs, as if from a scanner: page straightened, paper white, shadows gone.
or drop them here
No file leaves your device, from import to download.
How to do it
- Take photos of your pages, or drop the photos in the area above: JPEG, PNG or iPhone HEIC.
- Check the pages marked ⚠: drag the corners onto the page's own, erase what sticks out.
- Download one PDF per document, or all of them at once.
Scanning a document lets you send a signed paper, an invoice or an ID without a scanner: a photo is enough.
Have several pages? Follow the guide to scan them into one PDF, put them in order, and check the file before sending it.
Brother Snap does everything on your device: your photos never leave your computer or your phone.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. The photos are processed in your browser, on your device. No photo is sent or stored, and a photo's GPS position never enters the PDF.
How is the page found?
Brother Snap looks for the sheet's outline, then fits each edge onto the paper's edge, even when a corner is hidden. When in doubt, he marks the page ⚠ for you to check.
What does the Document rendering do?
It whitens the paper, removes the shadows and keeps the ink black, like a scanner. The Color rendering keeps the colours, for a certificate with a security background or a photo.
Which size is the PDF?
A4 when the page has its shape, otherwise the size measured at 200 dpi. You can choose A4, A5 or Letter for each page.
Can I split the pages into several documents?
Yes: drag a page onto another document, or onto the “New document” box. Each document becomes its own PDF.
