Your PDFs never leave your device

Many PDF sites send your file to their computers. Here it's the other way round: the monk comes to work at your place.

Why monks?

In the Middle Ages, copyist monks copied books by hand, in the scriptorium of their abbey. Each one had a task, and the work was done on site, with patience.

Holy PDF keeps the rule: one brother per tool, careful work, and nothing leaves the monastery.

Here, the monastery is your browser.

Frequently asked questions

You ask, the monks answer.

How does it work?

Have a look, it takes 30 seconds:

Is Holy PDF free?

Yes. The tools of the site are free, with no hidden limit and no watermark.

Do I need an account?

No. Open a tool, drop your files, get the result.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

Never. They are processed in your browser, on your device, and never leave it.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in the phone's browser, with no app to install. A very large file is slower there than on a computer.

Is there a maximum size?

The site sets none. The browser has its own: a very large file can fail, especially on a phone.

Is there an app?

Not yet. A desktop app for Mac and Windows, then Linux, built on the site's code, is in the works. An iPhone app will follow.
