How to do it

Do I need to know the password?
Yes. Holy PDF removes the password from a PDF you can already open. It does not try to guess an unknown password.
Is my PDF or my password sent to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device. Neither the file nor the password is sent or stored.
Is the original PDF changed?
No. Holy PDF makes a copy that opens without a password. Your original file stays protected.
My PDF opens without a password but refuses printing or copying. Does this help?
Yes. These restrictions come from the same encryption: the unlocked copy prints and copies as usual.
Why is my signed PDF refused?
A PDF with a digital signature would lose its validity if it were rewritten. Holy PDF leaves it as it is.
