Privacy

Your files never leave your device. Here is the little the site sees, and your rights.

Updated

Who is responsible

The data controller is Snouzylabs S.R.L., publisher of the site. For any question: hello@holy-pdf.com.

Your files

Holy PDF works on your files in your browser, on your device. They are never uploaded, neither to Holy PDF nor to any other service. So the site can neither read them, nor keep them, nor pass them on.

When you close the tab, nothing remains, except the files you downloaded. How it works, and how to check it.

What the site does not collect

  • No account: no name, no email address, no password.
  • No advertising, no tracking pixel.
  • No audience measurement and no cookie without your consent: see below and the Cookies page.

What the host sees

To send you the pages of the site, the host Cloudflare receives the technical data of each request: your IP address, your browser, the page requested and the time. It uses them to serve the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest: a site has to work and stay safe. The publisher keeps no log of these requests; Cloudflare keeps them under its own policy.

Cloudflare is based in the United States. It is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which governs this transfer. Details in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Audience measurement, if you accept it

If you accept it in the banner, Holy PDF counts its visits with Google Analytics 4. It receives the pages viewed, your browser, your type of device, your approximate country and the name of the tool used when it finished. It never receives your files, nor their name, their size or their content.

  • Purpose: knowing how many people visit the site and which tools they use.
  • Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” button, at the bottom of every page.
  • Recipient: Google Ireland Limited, which processes this data on behalf of the publisher. Google LLC, in the United States, is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which governs the transfer. Details in Google’s privacy policy.
  • Retention: two months in Google Analytics. Its cookies last 13 months at most.
  • Google signals and ad personalization are off: this data is not used to show you advertising.

If you write to us

If you write to hello@holy-pdf.com, only the publisher reads your message. Your address and your message serve only to answer you: the legitimate interest of answering a request. They are kept for the time of the exchange, then deleted. Never attach a personal document: you do not need one to get help.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing or object to it. Write to hello@holy-pdf.com: you get an answer within one month.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country: the CNIL in France, or the ANSPDCP in Romania, which supervises Snouzylabs S.R.L.
