Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF sent to a server?

No. The pages are cut in your browser, on your device. No file is sent or stored.

What is it for?

To separate the two pages of a book or magazine scanned open, so the PDF has one page per page again.

In which order do the halves come out?

The left half, then the right one; or the top half, then the bottom one. One page becomes two pages in a row.

Is a rotated page cut the right way?

Yes. The cut follows the page as you read it, even when it is rotated in the file.

Does the text stay selectable?

Yes. The pages are not turned into images: each half shows its part of the original page.
