An office asks you for an application file: ID, proof of address, tax notice. You have photos taken with your phone, a few PDFs, and a size limit to respect. Here is how to turn them into one clean PDF. Your papers leave your device only when you submit the final file.

1. Turn the photos into a PDF

Open Convert JPG to PDF and drop your photos: each photo becomes a page. Photograph the papers flat, well lit, without the shadow of your hand or phone. The tool takes JPG and PNG photos. An iPhone often saves HEIC: on a Mac, open the photo in Preview and export it as JPEG, or choose “Most Compatible” in the iPhone’s Camera settings.

2. Combine the documents

Open Merge PDF files and drop every PDF of the application, including the one made from the photos. Put the files in the order asked for.

3. Put the pages in order

A page upside down: Rotate a PDF. A page too many: Delete pages from a PDF. To rearrange everything: Organize PDF pages.

4. Make the file lighter

The upload site refuses files that are too heavy? Open Compress a PDF. The “Recommended” level is usually enough: the file gets lighter, and the photos stay sharp.

Check before you send

Open the final PDF and leaf through it: every page, in the right order, readable. Give it a clear name, such as housing-application-smith.pdf. Keep your original files.
